In 2024, YARD-Liberia, Inc. we successfully implemented the “Harnessing Opportunities After Graduation” initiative, reaching over 60 high school students from Margibi and Grand Bassa Counties with critical skills to thrive after completing secondary school.

The program focused on equipping students with practical knowledge in:

• Career Planning
• Resume Writing
• Interview Techniques
• Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy

By combining career guidance with entrepreneurial and financial skills, the initiative empowered young people to make informed choices about their futures, pursue higher education or vocational opportunities, and explore pathways to self-reliance.

This effort underscores YARD-Liberia’s commitment to ensuring that Liberian youth are not only educated but also prepared, confident, and equipped to transition successfully into adulthood and the job market.
