YARD-Liberia, Inc. recently organized an impactful Police and Youth Forum at the Women’s Resource Center, bringing together youth, police officers, and community leaders for a day of dialogue, trust-building, and collaboration.

The forum provided a safe space for open conversations on community safety, youth engagement, and constructive policing, highlighting the importance of mutual understanding between law enforcement and young people. A standout moment was the testimony of Miss Fatu Kai, a reformed youth leader, who shared her journey of transformation and the vital role of mentorship and second chances in guiding young people toward positive paths.

Participants left the forum with actionable insights and strategies to foster stronger relationships between youth and police, demonstrating that community cohesion and empowerment are built through dialogue, understanding, and shared responsibility.
